To change the owner of a test request in EMIS Web, begin by accessing the Test Requests section. Navigate using the EMIS Web menu: select Workflow Manager and then click Test Requests. This will display the Test Requests screen in the workflow manager.
Steps to Change the Owner
Select the specific test request you wish to reassign by clicking on it from the list. Once selected, you will find the option to Change Owner on the ribbon at the top of the screen. Click on this option to proceed with the reassignment.
Next, choose the new owner for the request. You can either select from a list of recently used users or opt to Find User which allows you to search for the necessary team or user. Note that any users who are currently out of office will appear greyed out, indicating that assignment to them is not possible during their absence.
This functionality helps to streamline the process, ensuring that tasks are handled by the most appropriate team members, enhancing both efficiency and accountability within healthcare settings.
