How PCN directors are using Hero

PCN Directors use Hero to communicate with patients across their entire PCN catchment.

Whilst most communication platforms retrieve patient details from the connected EMIS or Systm1 instance, Hero is optimised for cross-organisational working. This means you can aggregate a patient data from across all practices in your PCN, and message the cohort from Hero - even the patients are not yet traced into your hubsite instance. PCN-wide messaging campaigns can be used to fill PCN appointment slots, for example for NHS health checks or ARRS role appointments, or to conduct remote reviews using Hero's inbuilt questionnaires.

Ambitious practices also make use of Hero's intelligent online booking. Appointment slots can be made available online, with access restricted to patients from your constituent GP practices. For example, make your first-contact-physio appointments available online, directing patients from GP practice websites to book into the PCN hubsite.
