The latest government GP contract identifies additional funding for PCNs, with investment focused on enhanced out of hours care as well as ARRS roles.
Hero is an EMIS Clinical Services integrated online booking and scheduling solution, enabling practices to seamlessly take online bookings directly into their EMIS CS diary.
This can be particularly helpful for specialty services run at a PCN or Federation level, and reimbursed on an uptake basis. We are working with a number of PCNs and Federations delivering services such as:

Using Hero’s EMIS integrated online booking solution, you can set EMIS slots for these services as bookable online. Without having to navigate traditional “Log in” barriers associated with most online booking, patients can be directed to find available slots and book online directly into the EMIS diary.
Services can be sign posted via practice or PCN website, and patients given the opportunity to book these 24/7. Alternatively, GPs or practice-level clinicians can text patients ‘booking links’ for these services, enabling the patient to find slots and book online.
